What is DOFF Cleaning ?

The DOFF Cleaning Process

Precision Cleaning with Zero Surface Damage

The DOFF cleaning system was specifically developed to gently clean stone, brick, and other delicate materials using superheated steam. The machine heats water to approximately 150°C, producing a controlled stream of steam that is delivered through a heat-resistant nozzle and directed precisely onto the surface requiring treatment.

As the steam contacts the substrate, it loosens and removes dirt, organic matter, and surface contaminants with ease. For more stubborn stains, multiple applications may be required; however, the process remains highly effective and efficient, using low water pressure to ensure there is no damage to the underlying surface.

The DOFF system is versatile and can be used both internally and externally, making it a safe and reliable solution for cleaning a wide range of surfaces: particularly listed buildings, heritage stonework, and conservation projects.

Many buildings require a gentle touch, and that’s where the DOFF Integra excels. This advanced cleaning system guarantees zero surface damage, allowing for the safe and effective cleaning of brick, stone, concrete, tile (both glazed and encaustic), wood, faience, and terracotta. Its gentle approach doesn’t compromise on performance, the DOFF Integra effortlessly removes graffiti, grime, paint, and biological matter while leaving no harmful residue behind.

The DOFF Integra operates using a superheated water system, delivering steam at temperatures of up to 150°C at the nozzle. This high temperature ensures efficient and thorough cleaning without the need for harsh chemicals. The operator maintains full control over both temperature and pressure, enabling a precise and adaptable cleaning processtailored to each surface type.

With a flow rate of just 5 litres of water per minute, the DOFF Integra achieves minimal saturation and rapid drying times, ensuring superior efficiency and complete substrate protection. For enhanced performance, the system can also be equipped with an advanced recovery unit that automatically collects used water and debris into a convenient catch tank, maintaining a clean, tidy, and environmentally responsible work area.

Building on the legacy of its predecessor, the DOFF III, the Integra continues to lead the way in innovative, steam-based stone cleaning technology: combining power, precision, and preservation in one advanced system.
